18.2.12 report from WDYFL Web site:-Carterton 2 Moreton Rangers 0
Carterton played Moreton Rangers and from the kick off started to attack and for most of the half Carterton camped out in front of the Moreton goal and had many opportunities to open the scoring but could not manage to convert their chances, mainly due to the Moreton Rangers keeper having a fine game.
The second half started much the same way with Carterton attacking, Josh Henry scored his 1st goal for the team, this goal eased the pressure on Carterton and they stared to play some good football. Jack Maclean, who had come on as substitute, got Carterton's second to seal a good win.
Well done boys on a very good performance and Man of The Match went to the whole team.
21.1.12 Carterton 1 v 1 Carterton Colts

Derby day at Kilkenny Lane as Carterton played the Colts. This was a very close affair with Carterton having the best of the 1st half and Colts winning the 2nd and this was reflected in the score line as both teams scored a goal in each half. Joseph Langon scored from corner for Carterton and Jake Williams evened up the game when the Carterton defence failed to clear the ball inside their box. All in all this was a fair result. Thanks to Tim and Paul for changing shirts and loaning out their referee Robbo to oversee the game. Carterton Man of the Match was Josh Henry for some robust marking and tackling. Well done both teams.

07.01.12 Bourton Rovers Youth V's Carterton U9's     Red League    Score 1 - 6
First match of the New Year and Carterton got off to a flying start against Bourton Rovers Youth, although Carterton did not have things all their own way as a penalty was awarded for handall. Despite Rees Wilson getting a hand on the ball he could not stop it going in the net. After this Carterton started to play some excellent football and soon the goals started to come Carterton's way. James Harvey scored a hat-trick, Joseph Langdon scored 2 and Harris Birch scored one. The Bourton Rovers Youth goal keeper stopped the score-line getting worse by producing some fine saves. This was a great performance by Carterton and many of the team could of been awarded Man of the Match, but for his hat trick it went to James Harvey. Well done boys.
10.11.12 report from WDYFL Web site:- Carterton 0 Combe Junior Sports 3
Carterton hosted Coombe Junior Sports on a cold frosty morning and for a while the match seemed in doubt as a frozen pitch delayed kick off, soon the sun de-frosted the pitch enough for play to start. Coombe soon got in to their stride scoring 3 goals in the 1st half. Carterton's best efforts in the 2nd half could not get them back into the game despite some good shots on goal which the Coombe keeper managed to save.
Well done to both teams for braving the cold weather and playing some good football.
3.12.11 Under-9 Knock-Out Cup - 3rd Round - Carterton 3 v 3 Middleton Cheney  (Middleton won on Penalties) AET (1-1) - PEN: 3-4

Carterton played Middleton Cheney in a cup match. Middleton Cheney struck 1st with a goal in the 1st half, but Carterton stuck at their task and played some good football and battled hard. Harris Birch came closest for Carterton with a shot just going wide.
In the 2nd half Ben Murphy came on for Harris Birch for his second match and soon scored His 1st goal for the team with an excellent solo effort that got all the home supporters excited (especially his Mum). What a great time to score to take the match to extra time. Extra time could not split the teams, so the dreaded penalty shoot out took place. After 5 penalties each, despite Rees Wilson's best efforts in goal, it was 3 - 3, so to sudden death. Sadly Carterton, lost out as Middleton cooly scored their penalty.
All the boys played superbly, Joe Kemp and Adam Fisher were solid in defence, James Harvey and Josh Henry battled hard down the left and right midfield with Joseph Langdon sweeping everything up in the middle of the park. The strikers Harris Birch and Ben Murphy kept the Middleton defence on their toes. Rees Wilson Made some excellent saves in normal time and was superb when it came to the penalty shoot out.
This was an excellent performance from the whole team and all the players were awarded Man of the Match. Well done boys!!!!!

19.11.11 Under-9 Knock-Out Cup - 2nd Round  Carterton 2-2 Chadlington Whites AET - PENS: 3-2
12.11.11  Carterton 1 Ducklington 0 report from WDYFL Web site:-

5.11.11 Under-9 Knock-Out Cup - 2nd Round Carterton v Chadlington Whites - match postponed

29.10.11 Chadlington White 1 v 3 Carterton FC U'9s
Carterton made the journey to Chadlington White and hoped to continue their good run of form. Although they started a litle slowly it was Carterton who struck 1st with James Harvey scoring to make it 1 - 0.Carterton started to play some good passing football and were in control of the game as the half time whistle blew.
Carterton continued to play well as a team in the second half and 2 goals from Joseph Langdon seemed to seal the game for Carterton, however Chadlington had other ideas and came back strongly. Chadlington scored a late goal but could of easily scored 2 more to force a draw, only excellent defence from Man of the Match Joe Kemp and a brilliant last ditch tackle from Harry Brown ensured Carterton came away with the points. Rees Wilson also made some fine saves throughout the match. Well done to both teams for a good match.

15.10.11 Carterton 5 v 1 Chadlington Blues

Carterton FC played at home against Chadlington Blues and played a brilliant game of football. Although the 1st half was quite tight Carterton passed and moved the ball well and created the opening chance, which resulted in a goal.
The second half Carterton played even better, all the work at training was paying off as Carterton went on to score 4 more goals. Joseph Langdon, who was Man of the Match, scored a superb hat trick,Harris Birch and Jack Mclean also scored. This was definetly a very good team performance. Well done boys

8.10.11 Carterton Colts 1 v 1 Carterton

The local derby was here, Carterton Colts V's Carterton FC. It was Colts who got off to the better start and soon scored to go 1 goal up. FC soon got back into the match and with some good passing football created a chance, which Joseph Langdon put away to even up the score. Well done!

1.10.11 Wychwood 2 v 1 Carterton FC
Carterton FC were away at Wychwood on an unseasonably hot day. Today’s captain for Carterton was Joe Kemp for his outstanding performances over the last couple of matches. The game started with both teams evenly match but it was Wychwood who struck first to score. The half ended 1 – 0.
From the restart Carterton forced the play and the pressure paid off, when after a goal mouth scramble James Harvey scored to even up the match. Despite Carterton FC’s best efforts they could not find a winning goal and it was Wychwood who went on to score a second and win the game.
Carterton’s Man of the Match was Josh Henry for a solid battling performance, despite the heat.
Well done boys on another good performance.
24.9.11 Carterton FC 3 v 1 Bourton Rovers Youth U9’s Red League Score
Carterton FC played their 1st home match of the season against Bourton Rovers Youth. From the kick off Carterton came out determined to back up last week’s win with another against Bourton. Carterton applied plenty of pressure to the opponents defence and this paid off when James Harvey was fouled on the edge of the box. Joseph Langdon stepped up and struck the ball fantastically well to score a goal.
Bourton came back and from a corner equalised. The half ended 1-1.
The second half saw a closely fought contest with Carterton just gaining the upper hand and goals from James Harvey and Adam Fisher sealed the win.
Although James Harvey was Carterton’s Man of the Match, the whole team played superbly and should be very proud of their performance. Well done
10.9.11 Combe Juniors Sports v Carterton FC  Red league 3 - 2
Carterton started the season away at Combe, despite a slow start for Carterton who went 2 nil down early into the game, the team soon rallied and showed great enthusiasm and commitment which bodes well for the future.
Carterton levelled the score through goals from Joseph Langdon and James Harvey, and the contest was very evenly fought. Both sides had chances to win the match but it was Coombe who struck in the closing minutes to win 3 – 2.
Carterton’s man of the match was Rees Wilson, for some very good saves.

26.11.11 report from WDYFL Carterton 0 North Leigh 1
Carterton hosted the current league leaders and did themselves proud narrowly losing to a single goal. Joseph Langdon had the best of the Carterton chances, firing in a shot that hit the under side of the cross bar and bounced clear of the goal. Everyone played well and gave a 110% and the team should be very pleased of their performance today. James Harvey was awarded Man of the Match.

26.11.11 report from WDYFL Web site:- Witney Vikings Youth All-Stars 3 Carterton 2
This match between (joint) league leaders and the bottom of the table was very tight, Carterton played much better football than their league position suggests. Both teams battled hard and the half time score of 3-1 did not reflect how close this game was. The second half saw Carterton add another to their tally but Witney Vikings Allstars held on for yet another win to remain unbeaten this season.
19.11.11 Eynsham Youth 2 Carterton 0 report from WDYFL Web site
Eynsham welcomed Carterton on another warm November morning, The game started with most of the play been played in the middle of the park until Eynsham gradually took control and started to play some nice passing football. Eynsham eventually took the lead after another good move led to Jonny Harrington cutting the ball back for Dylan Butler to continue his fine scoring run with a sharp finish. The 2nd half started very similar to the 1st, with Eynsham having large amounts of possesion without converting that into goals. They made it 2 - 0 with 10 mins to go with Thomas Early firing home from close range, Carterton battled to the end but could not break down the solid Eynsham defence.

12.11.11 Under-10 Knock-Out Cup - 2nd Round Ducklington 7 v 0 Carterton

8.10.11 Carterton 2 Bure Park Juniors 4
Bure Park Juniors U10's recorded their first win of the season on Saturday. Bure Park's first goal come from a Tommy Mansley corner which found William Tyrrell in space at the far post who headed home. Strong goalkeeping by Harry Waites and defending by Tom Dalton and Lochlan Colquhoun helped keep out the opposition. This, combined with some nice passing football by the midfielders, which included Zac Willis, lead to 2 goals by Ben Heath and a 0-3 halftime score. In the second half the nerves crept in for Bure Park when the home team scored and were then awarded a penalty which was fired into the top corner. Aiden Holliday came on as a midfield sub and Bure Park secured the points when William Tyrrell got his second to make the final score 2-4.

Ducklington 6-a-side 29.8.11   Carterton had 4 games to play in the qualifying group stages.
